First grade students in Ms. Duffy's classroom have been learning how to create stories in Microsoft Word. They learned how to search for and insert clipart and describe what was happening in the photo they inserted using the font formatting tools available to them. Students also practiced saving and printing. These beginning word processing and publishing skills will help them with upcoming writing assignments and research projects. Young authors are exciting!
i think that is great that you are teaching children at such a young age! I only learned how to use word at age 6
