According to a Tech Edge article entitled "A Website is a Terrible Thing to Waste", written by Carolynn Mortensen in 2009, teacher websites should be used as powerful tools for students and parents to access information and resources. Mrs. Altenburger has done just that. Her website is so thoughtfully designed as she has included student artwork portfolios, inspirational music & suggested reading lists, a place to recognize outstanding participation, and information about famous artists and their works. With such a robust website, it's no doubt students, parents, and fellow teachers will add this site to their favorites list!
