Teachers participated in a QR code training session this week to learn about what exactly QR codes are, how to create them, and possible ways to use them in their classrooms. They had fun going on a scavenger hunt around the school scanning codes and finding the mystery objects. Once all of the objects were found, they put them in order from smallest to largest and emailed the picture in to win! From there they were challenged to figure out how to make their own code and have it posted outside their classroom before the end of the day. What a pleasure to see the hallways filled with QR codes linking to You Tube videos, simple text, motivational quotes, and even song lyrics! We hope to see more QR codes on campus, and this time, the kids will be scanning them!
